4th of July is coming up and what better way to celebrate than to create a backdrop that you can use as a photo moment or decor! This 4th of July DIY fringe backdrop I made into the American flag using red, white and blue plastic table cloth strips.

Since my first attempt at the streamer backdrop was such a success I decided to finally attempt to make another one but with a twist! I made a 4’ x 6’ this time around and used all the colors of the rainbow for St. Patrick’s Day!

When I was asked to help plan a backyard birthday I immediately asked “what’s the theme” always have to have a theme! She was looking for something romantic and elegant to make it feel like an upscale dinner party, since she couldn’t go out to a nice restaurant to celebrate she wanted to bring that to her backyard.

This was my first time creating a streamer backdrop and I’m proud of how it came out! I made an 8’ x 8’ so it was pretty big and took a while, but it is really simple to do. I only used scissors, tape measure, plastic tablecloth and plastic fencing. Below I linked each product I used.
