Valentine’s Day Decorations - DIY Heart Garland

I created a couple Valentine’s Day decorations that you could easily create yourself. The heart garland one of my favorite, simple, yet oh so cute, decor for Valentine’s Day.

Whether you are staying home or having a few close friends over, these add that perfect touch! I hung them on a bar cart and they really made the whole thing pop!

Heart Garland

Supplies

• Pencil

• Construction paper (pink, red or any color you want)

• Black marker/sharpie

• Scissors

• String/Twine

• Tape

Step One: Take the pencil and create your heart. I recommend creating

Step Two: Take some scissors and cut out the heart.

Step Three: Take the marker and start outlining the outside of the heart to make the heart pop more!

Step Four: Then take the pencil and draw a line on the inside of the heart to make it look a little 3D and then trace that line with the marker.

Step Five: Take some string and tape the back of the heart along the string. I made my garland vertical so the string went straight up and down behind the heart. You could also make the garland horizontal so the string would go along the back of the heart but from left to right. However you want to do it!
