DIY Easter Decor - Diva Eggs
For Easter I decided to get a little crafty with the decor and created DIY Diva Eggs. I used supplies that are just laying around my apartment, so you don’t need to go out to the store. This is something fun that anyone can do!
Supplies:
Scissors
Eggs
Paint
Paint brush
Flowers
Black marker
Pink marker
STEP 1:
Crack the eggs on top so you create a little hole on the top of the egg. Empty out the egg out so that you are left with an empty egg shell. Rinse out the egg shell with water to make sure they are clean. I did this with 6 eggs, so make sure you need some scrambled eggs or an omelette at this step so the eggs don’t go to waste!
STEP 2:
Cut the egg carton so that it is left with 6 egg holders and paint the egg carton whatever color you would like. I chose pink!
STEP 3:
With a black pen you are going to draw on the eyes and with a pink pen you are going to draw on the lips. You could also use red or any other lip color you want your divas wearing!
STEP 4:
Final step is the flower crown. Go into your garden (or your neighbors) and cut a couple flowers to add to the tops of the egg shells. You don’t need a lot to make it look full. Just like that your Diva Eggs have hatched! Hope you enjoyed this and make sure to tag me in your photos @meganpicazoevents
