Birthday Party in La Quinta California
Last year I had my big 30th birthday during quarantine, womp womp. Usually for my birthday I do something local; brunch, dinner, bar hopping, ya know.. the usual. But this year I wanted to go all out because I didn’t get to celebrate my 30th the right way! A lot happened not only in the world last year, but personally too. Turning 30 was a big turning point for me and that’s why this year I had to go BIG!
When searching for Airbnbs my requirements were; 1. I didn’t want to have to fly anywhere, so it had to be close enough to drive to, 2. I wanted somewhere that had a pool since the weather is so nice in LA right now and 3. I wanted a place big enough for four couples, so that we all had our own rooms.
There are soooo many cute Airbnb options around the Palm Springs/Palm Desert area, but this was the winner for my birthday weekend (if the link doesn’t work that might mean they took the listing down - here are other options I found).

Friday is when I decided we should have our “fancy dinner.” Everyone got dressed up (even though we just stayed at the house), but it was fun! Now a days we don’t get to dress up as often as we used to. I designed the table scape that went along with the desert theme for the weekend.
Once I got the Airbnb booked the next step was a theme. Of course I went for the desert theme because I mean.. why not! I had Picazo Creative create my itinerary for the weekend and they came out just the way I envisioned them. I also got these super cute custom drink stirrers from Atomic Kraftworks they added that custom touch.
Even the dogs had some fun in the sun!
