Valentine’s Day Bar Cart Decorations

If you don’t have a bar cart I recommend getting one ASAP. You can use them for really any occasion; alcohol, coffee or in this case holiday decorations. For Valentine’s Day I took my bar cart (normally my coffee cart) and made it festive AF.

I’m going to break down for you where I got each item, so that you can recreate this look for Valentine’s day. All of the items are really affordable. I hate spending too much money on decorations that I use once a year and sometimes won’t even want to use again next year. That’s why I like to DIY a lot of my decorations.

The cart is actually really inexpensive, it’s from Ikea and you can find it here.

Ikea actually used this bar cart a couple different ways, like holding your tools or pots and pans. I didn’t think about using it for that purpose, but it makes total sense.

I made this heart garland. It was easy to make and added that pop that the cart needed! If you want to make this heart garland I made a blog with step by step instructions on how you can make it yourself!

I couldn’t find my exact cake stand that I got from Target a while ago, but this one is pretty similar. It’s porcelain and it’s the perfect display for desserts or even as a center piece on your table. I love a white cake stand because it will go with anything.

The heart box at the bottom of my cart is from Target. I got this box back at the beginning of January because I knew they would be gone by the time it got closer to Valentine’s Day. Tip: whenever you see something you like at Target, get it, because it will be gone the next time you are there.

The heart box was only $5 and I’ve used them as a birthday box and put my friend’s favorite things inside. It was really cute and she loved it!

The last thing on the cart is the Instax Polaroid Camera. I remember when I was younger my parents had the old school polaroid camera and we would always somehow get our finger print on the picture before it fully dried. Who would’ve thought that the nostalgia of a polaroid camera would come back. I’m not mad at it. I love my camera and the pink just went perfectly with this setup.
